Meet Chris Dao-anis

Chris Dao-anis, CPA, MBA, DTM, is a leadership and communication coach, author of eight books, and speaker. He is the voice behind the SIGED Leadership Framework, which points to the good, the beautiful, and the true—an elevated way of living and leading.

Chris hails from Kibungan, Benguet, and is a full-blooded Kankana-ey. It was there that he first learned what siged means, later deepened by his education, experience, and exposure to industry experts. He finished a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management Accounting, Cum Laude, became a Certified Public Accountant, and earned a Master in Business Administration degree. He further sharpened his leadership skills through the THOME Leadership Development Program facilitated by John Clements Consultants with content by Harvard Business Publishing, where he was recognized as a Top Test Scorer.

In Makati City, he worked for five years as an auditor and accountant, before fully devoting himself to training and speaking—a mission he has now carried on for over a decade. As a training consultant, Chris has worked with the Asian Development Bank on life skills development for Filipino youth and with the World Bank on enhancing training modules for Filipino families. He also serves as a trainer to companies, cooperatives, and communities, equipping people with practical tools for leadership, communication, and growth.

Chris has also coached more than ten authors in writing their books, with four becoming finalists and two winning at the 15th Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Awards. In addition, he has coached research presenters for national conferences, helping them communicate their work with clarity and impact.

As a member of Toastmasters International, Chris achieved the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation and served as Area Governor and Division Director. Beyond his professional endeavors, he also leads in faith communities as the Builder of The Feast Baguio and as Diocesan Lay Coordinator of CHARIS Baguio.

More than all these, Chris treasures his vocation as a father of three, where leadership, love, and learning find their deepest meaning.
