Chris Dao-anis, CPA, DTM aspires to bring inspiration and instruction in the areas of life and leadership. He is an author of five books and has been giving inspirational talks, leadership and life skills trainings, recollections, and public speaking workshops to various audiences in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
He has degrees in BS Accountancy and BS Financial & Management Accounting (Cum Laude), and has earned 12 credit units for Master in Business Administration.
After passing the Certified Public Accountants Board Examination in 2009, he began his career with Punongbayan & Araullo as an associate consultant. He later joined Thome Ship Management-ROHQ as a process improvement analyst, became a marine payroll accountant, and then was promoted as an accounting supervisor. He was recognized as the Top Test Scorer in the Thome Leadership Development Program which content was provided by Harvard Business Publishing.
Chris is a member of Toastmasters International and has held various leadership positions including the role of Division Director for the year 2018-2019. He is a two-time division speech champion, and once landed third place at the national level (District 75-Philippines). In 2017, he was awarded Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), the highest norm granted to members worldwide. In 2018, he received the Certificate of Proficiency in Persuasive Influence under the Pathways Program.
He is also involved in the ministry work of the Feast Baguio. In January 2019, he graduated at the School of Leadership of the Light of Jesus Family, founded by Bo Sanchez (a topnotch speaker and a respected leader in the country).
His books include SPEAK: How to Craft and Deliver a Speech or Presentation with Competence and Confidence, Living Large in the Little Things, and How to Survive Struggles in School.
