5 Steps to Attract Abundance

“Action attracts abundance,” declared Bo Sanchez in one of his talks at the Feast.

He added, “If you don’t act, God’s power won’t show in your life.”

As I was looking back at my life, I couldn’t agree more. Things don’t just happen. Things happen because you did something to make it happen. Dreams are accomplished if you take action. Barriers are broken if you take action. Abundance is manifested if you take action.

Today, let me relay to you five steps to attract abundance in your life as shared by Bro. Bo Sanchez. Allow me to give my own reflections for each point.

1. Make a mess.

To make a miracle, you should not be afraid to make mistakes. As one who is starting, it is expected that not everything will work out well. It is then OK to make a mess because in the process, we get to learn from our mistakes. And when we do it again, we become better and better.

Michael Jordan shared, “”I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

Note that the more failures, the more successes. Because of the learning that is taking place in the process.

2. Be a fool!

When you will start something grand in your own little ways, there will be times that you will be misunderstood. Be ready for it.

You may hear things that will contradict your plans because what you are thinking may be out of the tradition. Naysayers will come along the way. Be ready. Listen to wisdom but ignore the noise along the way.

Sometimes those who disrupt the normal flow of things will emerge as someone to be somebody in the extraordinary way.

3. Eat your frog.

“Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.”

In this famous line of Mark Twain, a live frog can be interpreted as your most difficult task of the day. The invitation is to take this one first before the others. Do not postpone doing it. Or it will just prolong the agony, the pressure, the stress. So why not finish it right in the first minute of the morning! And the next hours will be like your playtime!

4. Do your thing.

What is it that is aligned to your passion and potential? Do that. Do your one thing. Don’t even try to do several things just because people around are doing it. Just do your thing.

Start doing what you want to be successful in. Remember that all successful people started as amateurs. They started as beginners. And we all are.

So do your thing. And really do it.

5. Make a mess again!

If you have fallen, get up. Learn from your mistake and move forward. Never give up.

Don’t be like the miner who have gone so far and deep only to give up when he is about to discover the gold.
Keep on. Don’t give up.

We are starting a brand new year. Our hope is that this year will be a year full of blessings. It shall be filled with abundance so we can live our dreams and be of blessing to other people as well.

May these five steps help you and me to attract abundance in our lives.

Live your life, young mind!
